Digital Scale, and a Bean Harvest

I decided to get a kitchen scale, because I want to be really precise with the weighing of produce.  If our goal is for each person to eat 1.3 pounds of produce a day, and grow half that amount, then I'm going to need to measure it!

I'm used to accurate digital scales in the lab, so it'll give me just the extra hint of science to spark up my day.

If you want to check it out, this is the one I got:  Ozeri Touch Professional Digital Scale.  It is on sale for half price at the moment, and has primarily excellent reviews.

Here you can see it weighing my first harvest of green beans (off of 5 plants)...

0 lb, 12.8 oz of AWESOME

This thing is amazing.  It can weigh stuff ranging from 1 gram to 18 pounds.  It has a glass top, so is easy to clean and liquid can't seep under the buttons.  It weighs in pounds/ounces, grams, fluid ounces, and milliliters.  It is super thin and light, and therefore easy to store out of sight.  But I kind of want to leave it out, it is so pretty...
